This is a show stopping vintage Thierry Mugler evening dress or evening coat in a black worsted wool crepe with black satin trim. We especially love the dramatic Cruella deVille style pointed stand up collar! The dress is double breasted with large black decorative buttons concealing a double row of snaps for closure. There is a 9" slit in the upper portion of the back bodice that adds even more drama and we love the pointed hemline in back! Even the sleeves have lovely detail with pointed cuffs.

There are snaps on the collar that have nothing to attach to so we aren't sure if they originally had an additional collar? There are front flap pockets and this piece has the iconic Thierry Mugler hourglass fitted silhouette. Labeled a French size 36, but we estimate this incredible coat/dress to fit a modern day US Size 2.
